Milk powder is also called dry milk, and is simply powder of dried milk products. How is powdered milk used?

Milk powder is very easy to use and is mixed into water according to the instructions on the package. The milk can then be used to bake with, add to coffee, drink as is or with chocolate powder. A rule of thumb is that approx. 2 dl dry milk and 9.5 dl water to get 1 liter of finished milk drink. The milk powder can also be used for baking without first needing to be diluted.

How long does dry milk have a shelf life?

Dry milk has a long shelf life and is therefore an excellent alternative to fresh milk, especially for those who rarely drink it or only use it occasionally. It is said that one should not cry over spilled milk, but with milk powder neither tears nor milk need to be spilled.
